ER50-3 is a kind of gas shielded carbon steel copper-plated welding wire, CO2 or rich argon gas can be used for shielding in welding. It is suitable for single pass welding or multiple pass welding and has excellent welding process performance, less splashing, good formation of weld seams and high crack resistance. It is particularly suitable for thin-plate small-current high-speed welding.
Purpose: It is applied to welding of carbon steel (for example, Q215, Q195, etc.) and partial low alloy steel (for example, 12Mn) in bridges, automobiles, pipe fittings, etc.

1. Under the protection of rich argon gas, in order to prevent air holes, the voltage should not be adjusted to too low and the length of electric arc is preferred to be nearly 5mm;
2. Under the protection of rich argon gas, the gas purity should be high, so that the generation of white spots caused by weld hydrogen can be reduced.
3,In order to ensure the use performance of welding wires, rust, oil, water, etc. on the surface of the workpiece should be completely cleaned before welding;

7,The diameter of welding wires should comply with the size of the electrode nozzle, if the diameter of welding wires is too big, the poor electric conduction will be caused, the formation of weld seams will be affected, and the splashing will be more serious;
8,Too much or too less weld line energy will seriously affect the comprehensive property of the weld seams, and please pay more attention to it;

Moving and storage of welding wires
When coiled welding wires are moved, the welding wires should be handled with care to avoid breaking;
Welding wires should be kept away from water and fire and are not high-temperature resistant;
Barrel welding wires:
When the welding wires are lifted, two hoisting rings should withstand force at the same time, the welding wires should be slowly lifted while the two hoisting rings are in parallel, and it is forbidden that the welding wires are lifted by one hoisting ring; and in the moving process, no person is allowed under the barrel;
When the welding wires are moved, the barrel covers and the sponge pads in the barrel should not be removed so as to avoid entangled wires;
When the welding wires are used, the welding wire heads should be taken out from a plastic press plate or from a space between glass balls and a barrel wall; and when the welding wires are used, the plastic press plate, glass balls or drying agent should not be removed.
When the welding wires are stored in a warehouse, the welding wires should be placed on a wooden tray or iron stand, kept more than 30cm away from the wall, and orderly arranged according to specifications, models, etc. in order to prevent misuse, and the use of welding wires should observe the principle of "first-in first-out".
